Edward Schober was born on September 29, 1925 in Cook County, Illinois and raised there as the son of the late Henry E. and Mildred (Dunker) Schober who where married in 1919.

Ed Schober passed away on August 16, 1981 and is burried, together with his wife Rita C. "Ritzie" Schober, nee Burns, (1926-2013) at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip, Cook County, Illinois.
